As a Brooklyn-based artist and designer, Peter Ripley's work centers around repurposing home goods and up-cycled vintage wares. Identifying himself as a Creative Scavenger, Peter is constantly on the hunt for forgotten objects to bring new life to as unique pieces of art. His work is heavily influenced by pop culture, history and the nostalgia of rummaging through grandma’s attic or finding treasures in the basement; all with a drive to be socially conscious, his passion of sustainability and a desire to reduce waste. Through his work, Peter hopes to inspire others to see the beauty and value in discarded treasures and invites you on this journey of giving older items a new purpose; creating a more beautiful, eco-friendly world, one piece at a time.
